Pregnancy and Prenatal Website
January 12th, 2006 by Michael HumphreysNot many people may know this, but my wife and I are expecting our first child in May 2006.
While I have had the opportunity to learn some things about pregnancy and prenatal care from my college and massage therapy studies, it’s amazing how much information and misinformation is out there.
Even talking with the slew of doctors, it’s amazing how cautious and protective they are now with prenatal care. My mother-in-law keeps saying, “The doctor never told me I couldn’t eat/drink that when I was pregnant”.
Case in point:
For our wedding anniversary, my wife was planning to have a half-glass of white wine, which according to the expectant mother book the doctor gave her, was hunky-dory. She still decided to check with the doctor, who promptly squashed that idea. ZERO alcohol during pregnancy was the official answer.
I decided to have a pregnancy and prenatal information website built to help educate those who are looking for this type of information. You’ll find a lot of free, accurate information available on this website.
