Here’s a marketing technique that I haven’t seen many therapists use yet. It’s using the power of audio messages on your website to help market your massage business. In this short article, I’m going to share with you some of the ways you can use audio to market your massage practice.

Best of all, I’ll tell you how you can get the software you need to create your audio messages for about $20. All of the software that I mention in this article in for the PC because that is what I have used for years. I’m quite sure there is similar software and tools available if you own a Mac instead.

Why Use Audio?

It’s an extremely powerful way to deliver a marketing message to anyone who comes to your website. What types of marketing messages can you use with audio?

· A quick introduction to your website where you tell them where to find the most commonly searched items like your fee schedule, travel directions, and the massage techniques you offer.
· An encouraging message telling them about your email newsletter and urging them to sign up.
· An explanation how one of your areas of expertise is helping clients with a specific condition. Conditions like sciatic pain, post-event sports massage, or migraine headaches.
· Your marketing message on why they should choose your massage office over any others in your areas.
· Your free report on how massage therapy can reduce or eliminate pain for a specific medical condition. At the end of the report, you give them your office phone number and urge them to call to get out of pain right away.

What Tools Do You Need To Create Your Own Audio Message?

First, you will need a microphone that you can plug into your computer. It will need to plug into either the microphone jack on your sound card or your USB port on your computer. You can pick up a basic microphone or a USB headset (often sold for online game playing) for as little as $20.

Second, you will need audio editing software to record your audio message. I use a very powerful audio editing software program called Audacity, which is completely free.

Next, you will need some type of software for playing your audio file over the Internet. This is called streaming audio.
